Numerical Study of Air-Flow Phenomena Through a Baffled Rectangular Micro-Channel

The aim of this study is to investigate the heat transfer characteristics turbulent airflow phenomena in a rectangular micro-channel presence two plane shaped (type-1) and diamond (type-2) baffles which will help develop various exchanger models. Finite volume method has been used solve governing equations FLUENT software employed visualize simulation results. For both baffles, profile flow structure, normalized velocity profile, friction factor average Nusselt number have investigated with variations Reynolds ranges between [10,000-50,000]. In terms fluid phenomena, it found that are more convenient than baffles.
